Lang Son and Thi Bang Tuong (China) discuss promoting tourism cooperation

Recently, at milestone 1090-1091, Tan Thanh customs clearance (Van Lang district, Lang Son, Vietnam) - Po Chai (Pingxiang town, Guangxi, China), the working delegation of Lang Son province had a working session with the working delegation of the People's Government of Pingxiang town, Guangxi province, China on promoting cross-border tourism cooperation.

Through discussions, the two sides agreed to extend the stay for passport users from 1 day to 2 days and 1 night through the Huu Nghi border gate (Vietnam) - Huu Nghi Quan (China), Tan Thanh customs clearance (Vietnam) - Po Chai (China) when approved by competent authorities.

During the working program, delegates from both sides also discussed a number of issues: Promoting the progress of building a cross-border tourism cooperation zone; researching and jointly implementing an electronic visa system at the Tan Thanh-Po Chai customs clearance; organizing self-driving tourism across the border; developing a plan to organize cultural, artistic and sports exchange events between the two sides; developing tourism products, Lang Son-Bang Tuong tourism routes, including cultural tourism routes including historical revolutionary sites...

The unification and early implementation of the above contents are of great significance in promoting tourism, contributing to socio -economic development, and bringing common benefits to people on both sides of the border.

This is one of the activities to concretize agreements and cooperation between leaders of Lang Son province (Vietnam) and leaders of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) on further strengthening exchanges and cooperation in many fields, including promoting cross-border tourism.
