Hanoi City leaders offer incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at K9

On August 24, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the K9 Relic Site (Da Chong, Ba Vi District, Hanoi ) on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945 - 2024); 55th anniversary of the death of President Ho Chi Minh (September 2, 1969 - September 2, 2024).

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen and the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

The delegation included Party Central Committee member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen; Major General Dinh Quoc Hung - Party Secretary of Group 969, Political Commissar of the Mausoleum Protection Command; Major General Nguyen Dinh Luu - Deputy Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command and representatives of leaders of several districts, towns, etc.

In 1957, with the strategic vision of a genius leader and an outstanding military man, President Ho Chi Minh chose Zone K9 - Da Chong as the secret base of the Central Committee during the resistance war against the US to save the country. During the period of 1960-1969, President Ho Chi Minh went to Zone K9 many times to work and receive international guests. Here, many important guidelines and policies in the cause of national liberation and reunification were discussed and decided by President Ho Chi Minh and the Politburo .

After President Ho Chi Minh passed away on September 2, 1969 (July 21, Ky Dau year), the Politburo chose K9 - the place associated with the last years of his life, to preserve his body. The K9 relic site not only has historical, political and cultural significance but also becomes a "red" address to educate the nation's revolutionary tradition for present and future generations.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen and the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command expressed their respect and infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh.

In a solemn atmosphere, at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, delegates respectfully offered incense in memory, expressing their infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of the Party and People of Vietnam, Hero of National Liberation, Outstanding Cultural Celebrity, who has brought glory to the country of Vietnam and the Vietnamese people.

Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh, our entire Party, people and army vow to study and follow his ideology, morality and style, determined to firmly protect the achievements of the revolution, continue to promote the renovation process, build an increasingly prosperous country, for the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.

Next, the Hanoi delegation led by Party Central Committee member and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh. The delegation expressed their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, who devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation and the struggle for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people around the world.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the leaders of Hanoi City vow to continuously study and follow his ideology, morality and style. At the same time, promote the tradition of solidarity, joint efforts, unanimity, determination with the highest will to continue implementing Uncle Ho's Testament, successfully completing the Resolution of the 17th Congress of the City Party Committee.
