The Tan Son Nhat Ward Community Kitchen was launched on September 3, established by the Ward Women's Union, to care for people's lives and spread the spirit of kindness in the community. Every day, the kitchen serves from 10am with 100-150 free meals for the poor, freelance workers, students living far from home and relatives of patients.

Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council Le Hoang Ha affirmed that this was the result of the attention and close direction of the Party Committee, People's Committee, the close coordination of the Fatherland Front and the ward's organizations, along with the joint efforts and contributions of philanthropists, businesses, sponsors and people.

Comrade Truong Thi Bich Hanh highly appreciated the Community Kitchen model, considering it a practical activity in taking care of people's lives, especially those in difficult circumstances, contributing to promoting the strength of great national unity.

Community kitchens not only meet daily meal needs, but are also a "red address" spreading the spirit of humanity, fostering the tradition of solidarity and affection of Ho Chi Minh City.
