According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DOC), in the fourth quarter of 2023, there are expected to be 6 activities and events promoting Ninh Thuan Culture, Sports and Tourism, including: Activities to celebrate the Kate Festival of the Cham people following Brahmanism; organizing the Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan Open Golf Tournament; Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan Kite Surfing Tournament; participating in the Binh Thuan Golden Tourism Week; participating in the VITM Can Tho Fair; coordinating the organization of a Famtrip delegation to survey tourism in Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan (in the form of a caraval).
Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.
Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to focus on preparation work, to have detailed plans, specific solutions and to organize scientific , reasonable and planned activities; the opening scenario must be imbued with the cultural identity of the ethnic groups in the province, leaving a deep impression on tourists. Units assigned to preside over the activities must promote responsibility, proactively develop plans, strengthen coordination and implementation to achieve results. Traffic safety, social order and security, food safety and hygiene, and environmental sanitation must be ensured throughout the activities. Localities where events take place need to develop response activities, creating a series of activities to serve tourists, prolonging the length of stay of tourists in the province, striving to welcome over 2.9 million visitors in 2023.
