Currently, the concrete structures have been completed; the construction of the 593m/593m stone embankment foot has been completed, the 1.5m and 2m buy has been placed, the tetrapod has been arranged, and the embankment roof has been paved for 120m/593m (3 rows have just been constructed at the foot of the roof).

In terms of volume, it has reached about 70% of the contract value, ensuring progress compared to the registered and approved plan. The project to repair landslides in the residential area of Ca Na commune (Thuan Nam) has a total length of 1,326.4m; started on June 7, 2024, and is expected to be completed by the end of this year. Currently, concrete components have been cast; construction of 740m/1,326.4m of rubble stone revetment foot, 930m/1,326.4m of 1.5m and 2m buys have been placed, tetrapods have been arranged, and 352m/1,326.4m of revetment roof have been laid. In terms of volume, it has reached about 55% of the contract value, ensuring progress compared to the registered and approved plan.

Through the on-site inspection, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the investors and construction units who have actively implemented the project items. He requested the construction units to urgently complete the remaining items, especially underwater items before the rainy season; pay attention to the quality of the project, ensure aesthetics and safety when put into use.
Project on construction of embankment to protect residential areas on both sides of Lu River, Ninh Phuoc District, includes the following items: Construction of embankment to protect river banks with a total length of about 1.5km located on the left bank of Lu River, starting from behind La Chu Primary School to Phu Quy Bridge on existing National Highway 1. Structural solution: Construction of soft-paved embankment with reinforced concrete structure; the top of the embankment combines the management and residential road, hardened with 5.0m wide concrete; the embankment roof has a structure of precast concrete panels arranged in a reinforced concrete frame, with a filter layer of crushed stone and geotextile filter fabric arranged below; the embankment foot has a structure of rubble prism combined with steel gabions; on the route, construction works are built to suit the actual terrain. Project implementation period is from 2024 to 2026, with a total investment of more than 94.9 billion VND. However, due to the large investment capital demand for the project, the province's conditions are still difficult, and the mobilization of socialized capital is very limited; the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the Provincial People's Committee is currently proposing that the Ministry of Finance consider submitting to the Government to support the province from the 2024 budget so that the project can be implemented soon.
Checking the investment project of resettlement of people in the landslide area of Da Lan mountain, Phuoc Khang commune (Thuan Bac), basically the work items and related bidding packages for investment in construction of infrastructure items have been completed according to plan.

In order to promote the effectiveness of project investment, serve social security, and improve the lives of people in the project area and neighboring areas, the People's Committee of Thuan Bac district proposed the Provincial People's Committee to consider the investment policy for a number of items arising according to the needs of the people of Phuoc Khang commune, such as: Reinforcing stream banks with stone cages to protect production land and residential areas; drainage ditches along Ben Nung - Da Liet bridge road, the section before the road to Da Lan residential area to the existing overflow culvert; adding lightning rods in the new residential area. The additional investment in the above items is taken from the project's contingency costs and the cost saved through bidding of the works in the total project investment, not increasing the total investment of the project approved in Decision No. 765/QD-UBND dated June 23, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee. Currently, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with the People's Committee of Thuan Bac district to review and clarify a number of contents related to the project of resettlement of people in the landslide area of Da Lan mountain and report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
