Due to the impact of storm No. 10, at around 5:00 p.m. on September 29, at the negative slope area of Fan Si Pang Street, in Cau May 3 residential group, Sa Pa ward, a landslide occurred, causing a Ford Territory car with license plate 24A-23052 to slide down from the road to the negative slope area (about 60m from the road surface).
At the time of the accident, there were 3 people in the car, including: driver Dao Minh Due (born in 1972); Le Van Chinh (born in 1985, both residing in Sa Pa ward) and Hoang Anh Tuan (born in 1995, registered residence at group 27, Lao Cai ward, Lao Cai province).


Immediately after receiving the information, Sa Pa Ward Police coordinated with the Sa Pa Provincial Police Fire Fighting Team and other forces to promptly arrive at the scene; quickly deploying rescue work. At the time the working group arrived, the area where the accident occurred was still eroding, but fortunately the 3 victims sitting in the car were not injured...
After examining the scene, Sa Pa Ward Police coordinated with other units to quickly take Mr. Due, Chinh and Tuan out of the danger zone; ensuring the safety of the accident victims and rescue forces.
At the same time, Sa Pa Ward Police sent forces to set up blockades at both ends of the road to ensure that people were not allowed to pass through the landslide area.
