The 3rd week of January, the first quarter of the 25th Road to Olympia took place this afternoon (November 3) and witnessed the competition of four contestants: Tran Minh Quyet (Thanh Liem High School, Ha Nam ), Dinh Gia Bao (IEC International Education City Inter-level School, Quang Ngai), Le Tien Trong Nghia (Trung Phu High School, Ho Chi Minh City) and Dang Ngoc Quan (Bac Ninh Specialized High School, Bac Ninh).

Entering the first round – Warm-up, each contestant answered 6 separate questions. Minh Quyet and Gia Bao both got the first 50 points when entering the round. Meanwhile, Trong Nghia got 30 points and Ngoc Quan took the lead with 60 absolute points.

After the general question round, the score rankings of the contestants have not changed much: Trong Nghia has 40 points, Gia Bao has 55 points, Minh Quyet has risen to 70 points and Ngoc Quan continues to lead with 85 points.

The keyword to find in the Obstacle Course this week with 13 letters. The first horizontal line selected has the question: "According to the law, which activity is related to a person's trip outside the place of permanent residence for a period of not more than 1 consecutive year to meet the needs of sightseeing, relaxation, entertainment, learning, exploring ... or combined with other legal purposes?".

The second selected horizontal row has the question: "Which food crop in our country is one of the most dangerous weeds, which can reduce yield by up to 70%, or even prevent harvest?"

As soon as the MC read the question, Gia Bao quickly pressed the bell to answer the keyword. With the answer "terraced fields", the Quang Ngai male student rose to the top of the race with 115 points. Ngoc Quan 95 points, Minh Quyet 80 points, Trong Nghia 50 points.

The Acceleration round witnessed Trong Nghia's efforts to rise. Through four acceleration opportunities, the male student from Ho Chi Minh City gained 110 more points to raise his total score to 160, rising to second place in the race.

Ngoc Quan continued to compete steadily, regaining the top spot with 185 points. Minh Quyet remained in third place with 150 points, Gia Bao dropped to the bottom of the race with 125 points.

In the Finish Line round, Ngoc Quan participated first with a choice of 3 questions worth 20 points, however luck did not smile on him when he gave 2 incorrect answers and his score was reduced to 165.

Trong Nghia chose three questions with the same value of 20 – 20 – 20 points and completed them excellently to increase his score, v Opinion poll took the lead in the race with 220 points.

Minh Quyet heated up the atmosphere when he was the contestant who answered correctly 2 questions in Ngoc Quan's contest and took the lead. The male student from Ha Nam was also the second person to participate in the final round and got 210 points.

In the final result, Le Tien Trong Nghia (Trung Phu High School, Ho Chi Minh City) won the laurel wreath in the 3rd week of January, 1st quarter, with 220 points.

Tran Minh Quyet (Thanh Liem B High School, Ha Nam) came in second with 195 points. This was also the highest second-place score of January, helping this male student win a ticket to the January exam.

Also coming in third place were Dinh Gia Bao (International Education City Inter-level IEC, Quang Ngai) with 55 points and Dang Ngoc Quan (Bac Ninh Specialized High School, Bac Ninh) with 185 points.

Four contestants will compete in the first quarter of Road to Olympia 25, including: Tran Le Minh Triet (Nang Khieu High School, Ho Chi Minh City National University), Luc Duy Manh (Cho Don High School, Bac Kan), Tran Minh Quyet (Thanh Liem High School, Ha Nam) and Le Tien Trong Nghia (Trung Phu High School, Ho Chi Minh City).
