Dong Dinh Festival (Tien Yen district) will take place on February 8 and 9.

From February 8-9, at Dong Dinh communal house, Phong Du commune, Tien Yen district, the Tay ethnic cultural and sports festival, Dong Dinh Festival 2025, will take place.

The festival includes the incense offering ceremony, reporting and asking for permission at Dong Dinh communal house and reenacting the Long Tong ceremony in the fields in the yard of Dong Dinh communal house.

The festival includes pole pushing, tug of war, crossbow shooting, shuttlecock throwing, men's and women's volleyball, and men's raft racing on the Tien Yen River flowing through Dong Dinh communal house area.

The festival also includes an art exchange program, Then singing exchange, Tinh lute playing, "Duong Dang Dong Dinh" costume performance competition, and "Vui Hoi Dong Dinh" fire festival program.

The festival also includes a contest to wrap traditional Tay banh gio and a contest to make beautiful offerings. In particular, this year's new activity is the "Giant Tray" exhibition program introducing Tay cuisine , including many typical dishes, promising to bring many interesting experiences for visitors.

In addition, the festival area also has booths introducing tourism , cuisine and local agricultural products, displaying tools imbued with the cultural identity of the Tay people, and an art photo exhibition about Phong Du commune.

Visitors will also be able to participate in folk games such as blindfolded pot smashing, blindfolded chicken catching, spring swinging and many check-in spots to bring back many souvenir photos.
