People receive pensions at post offices in Ho Chi Minh City
Accordingly, implementing Decision No. 166/QD-BHXH dated January 31, 2019 of Vietnam Social Security on promulgating the process of settling social insurance benefits, paying social insurance and unemployment insurance benefits, the payment of monthly pensions and social insurance benefits to people will start from the 2nd of the month of payment.
However, because March 2 falls on Saturday, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance will specifically notify beneficiaries about the pension and social insurance allowance payment schedule this month.
Specifically, Ho Chi Minh City will pay in cash to pensioners and social insurance beneficiaries starting from March 2-25.
For non-cash payment, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office transferred money to the beneficiary's account on March 2.
For beneficiaries with pension accounts at banks, including: Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV), Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB ), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank), Ho Chi Minh City Post Office will transfer money to the beneficiary's account on March 4 (Monday), because these banks do not work on Saturdays.
