According to the 2024 Asian futsal qualifying draw results, the Vietnamese futsal team fell into group D with Mongolia, Nepal and South Korea.
Vietnam futsal team is ready for the 2024 Asian futsal qualifiers.
This is considered not too difficult a group for coach Diego Giustozzi and his team.
Even if they play well, the Vietnamese futsal team is completely capable of taking first place in the group.
According to the schedule, on October 7, Vietnam futsal will face Mongolia, 2 days later will be the match with Nepal and on October 11 will meet Korea.
The 31 teams participating in the 2024 Asian futsal qualifiers are divided into 8 groups (7 groups of 4 teams and 1 group of 3 teams).
The teams in the same group will compete in a round robin to calculate points. The top 8 teams and the 7 best second-placed teams will qualify for the 2024 AFC Futsal Championship.
At this tournament, the Vietnamese futsal team is still mostly familiar faces such as: Ho Van Y, Pham Duc Hoa, Nguyen Minh Tri, Tran Thai Huy and Chau Doan Phat.
Next to them are some young players, including Dinh Cong Vien, Dao Minh Quang and Duong Ngoc Linh.
The whole team is now in Mongolia and ready for the opening match against the home team.
