Continuously achieving international accreditation standards, UEF improves training quality

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) has just achieved the international accreditation standard FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) for two Bachelor programs in English Language and Finance - Banking. FIBAA is an organization established with the goal of promoting the quality and transparency of educational programs globally.

Continuously achieving international accreditation is clear evidence of the school's international training quality standards, affirming the goal of sustainable development when taking learners as the center.

Improve the quality of key industries

In March 2025, FIBAA - Europe's leading independent, non-profit accreditation organization - came directly to UEF to assess the quality of the university training programs of the two majors of English Language and Finance - Banking.

FIBAA's accreditation standards include 5 major standards and 54 criteria, designed to ensure comprehensiveness and depth in the quality of training programs, from objectives, content, teaching methods to teaching staff, learning environment and student support ecosystem.

In particular, FIBAA focuses on internationalization factors in training programs, from program design, language of instruction, teaching staff, to academic activities, international environment and international transfer opportunities.

After being evaluated according to standards and many criteria, in June 2025, the two programs of English Language and Finance - Banking officially passed quality accreditation.

In the group of strong business and business-related majors, in November 2022, UEF became a member of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) - the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs in the United States. This is the largest global business program accreditation organization, recognized by CHEA (Council for Higher Education Accreditation), United States.

International standard academic environment creates many advantages

The training program is affirmed to have quality in an international standard environment, which is the basis for UEF to bring many values ​​to learners.

In August 2024, the school also applied the new QS Stars Standard (Ranking Organization for Higher Education Institutions worldwide ) version 6.0 to evaluate the second cycle with 9 standards. The 4-Star result, including 5 standards achieving 5 Stars with a higher score compared to the previous assessment, is a clear demonstration of development.

In addition to the QS certification, UEF also achieved the second cycle of educational institution quality accreditation in 2023, and the school also achieved the quality accreditation of 16 undergraduate training programs. The results of the school's training program evaluation have created the trust of parents and candidates when choosing UEF as an environment for comprehensive learning and development.
