On May 17 in Dak Lak , the ceremony to announce the Decision to recognize the Vietnamese Heritage Tree and establish a Vietnamese record took place.

The ceremony took place solemnly with the participation of many delegates and bonsai art lovers.

At the ceremony, the Vietnam Record Organization (Vietking) announced and awarded a record certificate to the Linh sam song Hinh work, the oldest potted tree in Vietnam (over 100 years old).

According to the Organizing Committee, this is the first bonsai work in Vietnam to be honored with two noble titles for bonsai.

The above Hinh River spruce tree was exploited in the 80s of the last century. Through the skillful hands and creativity of the artisan, a unique work of art was created.

This work is owned by artist Tran Van Bich, Executive Committee Member of the Dak Lak Provincial Ornamental Plants Association. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Provincial Garden Club and Director of Dong Phuong Environmental Company Limited.

Artist Tran Van Bich is passionate about ornamental plants. He has spent a lot of time and effort collecting rare plants.

The recognition of Linh sam Song Hinh as a Vietnamese Heritage Tree aims to honor the value of potted plants, which have high economic and cultural value and are a rare genetic resource.
