The streets are lit up and the lights in the special classrooms at the Ha Tinh Orphanage are also lit. There, young teachers and volunteers have been quietly imparting knowledge to the less fortunate, so that they have more faith and determination to continue writing their dreams for the future.

The new school year has begun and the atmosphere at Ha Tinh Orphanage becomes more bustling every evening. At 7:30 pm, the lights of the special classroom are lit up with the regular lectures and the melodious reading of the students.
That is where the teachers of Le Van Thiem Secondary School and volunteers have devoted all their hearts to spreading knowledge to children from less fortunate circumstances, but they have never stopped yearning to excel in their studies, in life, and to continue writing their own dreams.

As the person who directly came up with the idea and connected teachers and volunteers to organize this meaningful activity, Ms. Hoang Thi Ngoc Tra - Math teacher, Le Van Thiem Secondary School shared: “Organizing extra tutoring activities for the children was completely coincidental. In 2023, during a visit and gift giving at the children's village, listening to the teachers talk about the unfortunate circumstances of each child and the difficulties and limitations in studying, urged me to do something to accompany and support the children.
And from there, the idea of organizing tutoring sessions at the Ha Tinh Orphanage was officially born. Fortunately, this idea was accompanied and supported by teachers at Le Van Thiem Secondary School and many other educational institutions.

Ha Tinh Orphanage currently has 32 children studying at schools in Thanh Sen and Tran Phu wards. Based on the age and grade level of the children, teachers and volunteers arrange appropriate study schedules and study groups. Each group is accompanied and guided by a teacher, most of which is tutoring, systematizing old knowledge, orienting new content and answering all questions for the children.
Due to the lack of facilities, the halls and empty rooms in the village are used by teachers and volunteers as podiums and classrooms to consolidate knowledge and sow dreams for students.

It is known that this special teaching activity has been maintained for the third year. Initially, there were only 4 teachers who volunteered to tutor the students, but up to now, the activity has attracted the participation of many teachers as well as volunteers from Le Van Thiem Secondary School and some other schools in the area.
IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, EACH TEACHER STILL SHOWS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY, DEDICATION AND STRONG SPREADING POWER OF THIS DEEPLY HUMANITARIAN ACTIVITY.
In addition to the familiar faces who have been involved in the activities since the early days such as Ms. Hoang Thi Ngoc Tra, Mr. Nguyen Luong Tho, Mr. Tran Quan, there are also many new teachers participating and accompanying such as Ms. Lam Oanh, Ms. Hang, Ms. Minh, Ms. Nhu Quynh... Some teachers, although not coming to the children's village, have organized extra classes for the children at their homes. In one way or another, each teacher still shows a sense of responsibility, dedication and the strong influence of this deeply humane activity.

Teacher Truong Nhu Quynh - Literature teacher, Le Van Thiem Secondary School shared: "I have just started working at the school not long ago when I learned about the special class at Ha Tinh Orphanage. After arranging and balancing my teaching schedule, I regularly participate in this activity. I am still young and do not have many commitments, so I take the opportunity to share and support the children with less fortunate circumstances through each lesson, with the hope of helping them to be more confident and make more efforts in studying and in life."
Another valuable thing is that the teaching activities have received a lot of support from students of Le Van Thiem Secondary School, iSchool Ha Tinh School, Albert Einstein School Ha Tinh... They all volunteered with their teachers to support students in the children's village to study. The older students will guide the younger students.

By participating in activities to support children at the Children's Learning Village, I understand more clearly the meaning of giving and the values I receive in return.
Although they are of different ages, they all have the same desire to share, accompany, and provide knowledge and motivation to children who are less fortunate than themselves. This is also a way for teachers to teach their students meaningful lessons about love, sharing and caring in life.
Mai Khanh Chi - a 6A2 student at Le Van Thiem Secondary School shared: "Participating in activities to support students at the children's learning village, I feel more clearly the meaning of giving and the values I receive in return. I hope this activity will be maintained and spread further to bring more warmth to students in difficult circumstances."

In addition to organizing extra-curricular programs, at the beginning of each school year, the group of young teachers also calls on and connects with organizations and unions to donate school supplies, uniforms and cash gifts to students.
Mr. Le Viet Anh Tuan - Secretary of the Provincial Inspectorate Youth Union shared: "After receiving information about the meaningful extra-curricular activities of teachers, the Provincial Inspectorate Youth Union together with the Youth Union of the Provincial Civil and Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Youth Union of the Department of Construction, and the Youth Union of Ha Tinh Industrial Development - Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company mobilized resources to give gifts to students at the children's village. Although the gifts are not large, we hope that they will contribute to encouraging and motivating the students mentally so that they will be more confident in the new school year."

With the dedication and responsibility of teachers and volunteers, the tutoring classes brought about many positive changes, especially in the attitude and learning spirit of each child in the village. Instead of being shy and reserved, through the lessons with the open sharing of teachers and volunteers, the children boldly expressed their own opinions on each issue.

Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Toan - Head of the Care and Nurturing Department, Ha Tinh Orphanage shared: "Suffering many disadvantages and losses in life, the foundation and learning knowledge of the children in the orphanage is difficult to keep up with their peers. Although studying at school and receiving great care and guidance from teachers, it is not easy for them to keep up with the curriculum.
Therefore, the organization of tutoring classes by teachers and volunteers will help make up for the shortcomings. Especially, in a close and familiar learning space, students can confidently and boldly ask teachers and volunteers about things they do not understand or know, thereby solidifying their knowledge.

Dang Hai An - Ha Tinh Orphanage shared: "Warmth and closeness are things that my friends and I have always felt clearly when participating in each tutoring session of the teachers during the past time.
The teachers not only impart and reinforce knowledge in class but also always listen and kindly share with us, thereby helping us to be more confident in ourselves to integrate and study well."

IN THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR, THE VILLAGE HAS 43 CHILDREN PARTICIPATING IN STUDYING, OF WHICH 70% OF THEM ACHIEVED THE TITLE OF GOOD AND EXCELLENT STUDENTS. IN PARTICULAR, THERE ARE 3 EXCELLENT STUDENTS WHO PASSED THE UNIVERSITY AND COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAM.
In the 2024-2025 school year alone, the orphanage has 43 children participating in the study, of which 70% are good and excellent students. Notably, 3 excellent students have passed the university and college entrance exams, thereby opening up a hopeful future for the less fortunate and inspiring many students who are still diligently studying in the Ha Tinh Orphanage.
To achieve that sweet fruit, in addition to the attentive care of the staff and employees of the nursery, the attention and support of teachers at schools, there is also the great contribution of Ms. Hoang Thi Ngoc Tra and her colleagues through warm night classes over the past 3 years.

THIS IS THE WARMTH THAT HELPS CHILDREN FROM LESS FORTUNE CIRCUMSTANCES TO TRY HARDER, BE MORE CONFIDENT IN STUDYING AND IN LIFE, TO CONTINUE FOLLOWING THEIR DREAMS, AND BECOME USEFUL PEOPLE FOR SOCIETY.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Orphanage confided: "Although life is still full of worries, teachers, volunteers and benefactors still come to orphans with all their hearts through loving deeds. That is the warmth that helps children in less fortunate circumstances to try harder, be more confident in studying and living to continue writing their dreams, becoming useful people for society. Through this, we also hope that the class will be maintained regularly to become a support for both knowledge and spirit for the children."
The night is getting late, but the lights in the special classroom are still bright, as a testament to the hearts of those who tirelessly spread knowledge. Because for each teacher participating in this journey, knowledge and love are the most precious gifts, helping the less fortunate to continue writing their bright dreams and helping them clearly feel that society always accompanies and supports them to grow up.
