Select 40 typical agricultural products to honor

According to the report of the Voting Council, there are 49 participating profiles of the Farmers' Association of communes and wards in the province with 61 agricultural products. These are specialties, key and potential products of the province. Many products have been invested synchronously, from traceability, quality records, registration of growing area codes to modern packaging designs; achieving prestigious certifications such as VietGAP, GlobalGAP, OCOP and awards at the provincial level or higher.

The participants are all typical enterprises, cooperatives, and business households with high awareness in building brands, improving quality, and promoting products. This activity has contributed to spreading products to markets inside and outside the province, making a positive contribution to the socio -economic development of Bac Ninh.

Through evaluation and classification, 45 products are eligible for honor according to the criteria of the promulgated Charter; 16 products do not meet the criteria or overlap with products that have been honored.

The group of specialty and processed products includes: Hong Kong dumplings (Dao Vien), yellow sticky rice wine and Trang Toan peanut candy (Dong Nguyen), fresh Luc Truc bamboo shoots from Lam Sinh (Ngoc Thien), dried cordyceps mushrooms from Thang Hoa (My Thai), longan from Dan Hoi (Cam Ly), special Nam The noodles (Nam Duong), Tien La soy sauce (Dong Viet), pork sausage (Da Mai), Cao Lan smoked meat (Xuan Luong), Van banh chung (Hoang Van), spring roll rice paper (Van Mon), shrimp paste with pork PTK (Tien Du), Tri Yen soy sauce (Tan An),...

As planned, the First Ceremony to Honor Typical Agricultural Products of Bac Ninh Province in 2025, co-organized by the Provincial Farmers' Association with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Industry and Trade, will take place in early October.

Honoring products with high quality and value in use aims to encourage and motivate the creative working spirit of farmers, scientists, and businesses in the production, processing, and consumption of agricultural products; building and affirming prestigious brands to participate in expanding and developing the market, meeting the requirements of shifting agricultural structure and rural labor structure towards industrialization and modernization, etc. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 19 NQ/TW of the 5th Conference of the Party Central Committee (13th tenure) on "Agriculture, farmers, and rural areas to 2030, with a vision to 2045".
