Introducing new tax policies and dialogue with taxpayers

BAC NINH - On September 26, Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department held a conference to introduce new tax policies and dialogue with taxpayers. Attending were Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Also attending were representatives of relevant departments and branches and 800 businesses and taxpayers in the province.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Ngo Tan Phuong said: Over the past 9 months, the province's trade and service activities have developed well, with retail sales of goods and services increasing by 17.87%. Outstanding credit increased by 20.3%. Investment capital of more than 15.3 billion USD has been attracted.

In particular, Bac Ninh currently ranks first in the country in attracting FDI. Newly established enterprises increased by 25%. Export turnover is estimated at 63.5 billion USD, up 36.51%, ranking second in the country (after Ho Chi Minh City).

In the context of the province implementing the 2-level local government organization model, the province's budget collection work still achieved many positive results; many revenue items increased higher than the same period. On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Ngo Tan Phuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactive coordination spirit of the Tax sector in removing difficulties and creating a favorable investment environment for businesses and people.

He emphasized that the province is committed to always accompanying and listening to businesses; continuing to improve the investment environment, ensuring openness, fairness, stability and transparency. He hopes that the business community will continue to promote the spirit of innovation, creativity, flexibility, effective production and business and actively contribute to the implementation of local socio -economic development tasks.

He also requested the Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department to quickly stabilize the organizational structure according to the new model, ensuring that tax management takes place smoothly and does not affect taxpayers.

Focus on resolutely and effectively implementing tasks and solutions on State budget collection according to the direction of all levels. Develop the State budget collection estimate for 2026 in accordance with the targets assigned by the Central Government and the socio-economic development goals of the province. Timely implement policies on tax extension, exemption and reduction, land rent... to remove difficulties, create the most favorable conditions for taxpayers to develop production and business.

Actively coordinate with departments, branches, and People's Committees at all levels to improve the effectiveness of tax management. Build an increasingly clean and strong team of tax officials.

At the conference, Bac Ninh Provincial Tax officials introduced a number of new points and important contents related to many businesses in the policies: Law on Value Added Tax effective from July 1, 2025; Law on Corporate Income Tax dated June 14, 2025; Decrees on tax extension and reduction such as: Decree No. 82 (extension of value added tax, corporate income, personal income, land rent); Decree No. 174 (value added tax reduction) and Decree No. 230 (30% reduction in land rent in 2025).

At the dialogue session, representatives of Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department received and directly answered many questions and concerns of businesses on issues such as: Corporate income tax incentives, tax settlement authorization, invoice recording, tax settlement deductions, personal property rental records... At the same time, they clarified issues related to tax policies, customs procedures and tax reductions.

At the end of the conference, comrade Nguyen Van Vinh, Deputy Head of Bac Ninh Province Tax informed that through dialogue, the Tax sector has promptly grasped more difficulties and problems to find solutions to remove them, support taxpayers to strictly comply with the law, and increase State budget revenue.

Immediately after the conference, Bac Ninh Provincial Tax will compile all questions and answers to publicly post on the Provincial Tax's Website, Facebook, and Zalo for taxpayers to study and implement.
