In recent days, the photo of female student Nguyen Mai Anh (born 2007, Hanoi ) "showing off" her A0-sized university admission notice has attracted the attention of the online community.

For Mai Anh, the first person she wanted to share the joy of passing the university entrance exam with was her grandparents.

Talking about the reason, the 18-year-old girl emotionally shared that her grandparents were the ones who took care of and raised her most of the time when her parents were busy.

"When I was little, because my parents were too busy with their business, my grandparents took care of me and taught me every step of the way. Later, when I got my university results, the first people I wanted to show off my achievements to were my grandparents," Mai Anh emotionally recounted.

Printing the admission notice in A0 size was just a fun idea at first. Mai Anh confided that her grandparents were old and had poor eyesight, so she wanted to print it larger so they could see it easily. Unexpectedly, Mai Anh mistakenly printed it in A0 size.

She brought the giant newspaper home to her grandparents, making them very surprised and touched.

"My grandparents called the neighbors out to celebrate and show off to everyone. They said they were proud of me," Mai Anh said happily.

The photo capturing that moment was shared by her on social networks and unexpectedly received a great response.

In response to some negative comments that her actions were “ridiculous”, Mai Anh shared that what she cared about most was her grandparents’ happiness. For the female student, the few negative comments were not worth paying attention to, because the happiness of the family was the most important thing.

Ignore economics , choose to follow passion for media

Mai Anh was admitted to the International Relations major, Foreign Information major, of the Academy of Journalism and Communication.

With her admission score, she said she could have passed both the National Economics University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, but she decided to pursue her passion for media so she put her first choice.

This decision of Mai Anh once made her parents worried.

"My parents wanted me to study economics or technology to have a stable job. I hid it from my family and put my desire to study at the Academy of Journalism first. I tried to convince my parents many times to let me pursue my passion and interests," Mai Anh shared.

In the future, Mai Anh has a clear direction to develop strongly in the field of image communication and advertising. She plans to study more about design, graphics and aims to study for a master's degree abroad to gain in-depth knowledge of foreign information.

For Mai Anh, being able to do what she loves and receiving support from her family, especially her parents and grandparents, is her greatest happiness and motivation.
