President Luong Cuong attends the high-level week of the United Nations General Assembly.

On the morning of September 22, Vietnam time, President Luong Cuong and his wife arrived in the United States to attend the High-level General Debate of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, combined with bilateral activities in the United States.

According to the VNA special correspondent, at 7:15 p.m. on September 21 local time (morning of September 22 Vietnam time), the plane carrying President Luong Cuong and his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived at JF Kennedy International Airport, New York City, the United States, to attend the High-Level General Debate of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, combined with bilateral activities in the United States.

This is President Luong Cuong's first working trip to attend a multilateral foreign activity at the largest global forum, of primary importance in the context of the United Nations celebrating its 80th anniversary; at the same time, the working trip also marks the 2nd anniversary of the establishment of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the United States and the 30th anniversary of the normalization of relations between the two countries./.
