Coach Hoang The Vinh also gave many compliments to the best player of the match and also the foreign player who just made VBA history when he achieved a "triple-double" (3/5 main indexes reaching 10 or more) in the opening match. "I consider foreign player Kentrell Barkley to be a very experienced player. This player played 39/40 official minutes and was active in both offense and defense. His performance of 28 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists for a foreign player is still an excellent achievement. Compared to last season's Saigon Heat star Madarious Gibbs, Kentrell Barkley plays well and has an advantage in physique," said Coach Hoang The Vinh.
