Impressive performance of traditional costumes, promoting Vietnamese culture at EXPO 2025

World Expo 2025 is a large-scale global exhibition, held every 5 years, bringing together 161 countries and 9 international organizations. This year's event takes place from April 13 to October 13, on Yumeshima Island, Osaka, Japan with the theme "Designing the future society for our lives." Meanwhile, Vietnam participates with the theme "Inclusive society with people at the center" demonstrating the spirit of integration and sustainable development.

Within the framework of EXPO 2025 Osaka, the special event of Vietnam National Day has up to seven art programs taking place, with 2 programs serving foreign affairs activities and 5 programs serving overseas Vietnamese, Japanese people and international visitors to the event.

Notably, the traditional costume and fashion show of the artists. Miss Thanh Thuy appeared prominently in an ao dai printed with the red flag with a yellow star, bringing moments rich in identity, introducing the beauty of Vietnamese culture to friends around the world.

Miss International 2024 Thanh Thuy participated in the ancient costume parade, making a strong impression on many international visitors. Here, the Vietnamese beauty recreated the image of Princess Ngoc Hoa - a 17th-century Dai Viet princess, a symbol of the cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan from hundreds of years ago. This image both evokes a meaningful historical story and spreads the message of the strong friendship between the two countries.

Immediately after that, Miss Thanh Thuy participated in welcoming Princess Tsuguko of Japan and Vietnamese leaders and delegates at the Vietnam Exhibition House of EXPO 2025 Osaka, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

With an area of 300m², the Vietnam Exhibition House recreates a cultural space with strong identity, while affirming the country's potential and integration spirit at the largest international event on the planet.

As the reigning Miss International, Thanh Thuy's presence at Expo 2025 Osaka contributes to enhancing and beautifying Vietnam's image in the eyes of international friends.

Miss Thanh Thuy shared about this meaningful trip: “I am very honored to be present at an international event like Expo 2025 Osaka. This is not only a place to admire advanced technologies, but also an opportunity for cultures to interact and together create a more sustainable future. Especially, when I wear the traditional ao dai, I feel extremely proud to introduce to international friends a Vietnam rich in identity, beautiful and integrated.”

In the coming time, Miss Thanh Thuy will continue her international journey in many countries, before ending her brilliant term as the first Miss International from Vietnam.
