The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Quang Tri deploy tasks for 2025

This afternoon, December 26, the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review the work of the front and socio-political organizations in the province in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang chaired the conference. The report of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission stated: In 2024, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province will step up propaganda and mobilize union members, association members, and people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, especially in site clearance and resettlement to build key national and provincial works and projects, build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, implement the Provincial Planning, and digital transformation.

During the implementation of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns associated with the emulation movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the movement " Quang Tri joins hands to build new rural areas", through which union members and association members in the province donated 46,277 ^m2 of land, mobilized nearly 61 thousand working days and social resources to build new rural areas. Socio-political organizations in the province built thousands of models, works and typical works in various fields, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of union members, association members and people.

From 2022 to present, the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee at all levels has mobilized and coordinated to support the construction of 1,765 houses with a total amount of more than 95 billion VND, including 1,276 houses in mountainous areas, 489 houses in the plains, and in 2024 alone, supported the construction of 837 solidarity houses for poor households with a total value of more than 55.11 billion VND.

From the beginning of the year to November 20, 2024, the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee at all levels in the province mobilized 53,456 billion VND, supported the repair of 87 houses worth 1,404 billion VND, 32 trade union shelters worth more than 1.2 billion VND, the "Godmother" program for 221 orphans in especially difficult circumstances from 1.2 - 7.2 million VND/year with a total amount of nearly 1.1 billion VND.

The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province play a good role as a bridge and directly carry out humanitarian and charitable work to help poor households, households in difficult circumstances, and policy families have a better life...

Regarding the tasks for 2025, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province identified 6 key tasks, including continuing to promote propaganda and mobilization work for union members, association members, and people to well implement the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State, resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, focusing on Action Program No. 99 dated May 7, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee to implement Resolution No. 43 dated November 24, 2023 of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country increasingly prosperous and happy.

At the same time, focus on the work of grasping and forecasting the situation of union members, association members, and people, promptly advising the Party Committee and government to resolve difficulties and problems at the grassroots level, especially in site clearance and resettlement to serve the construction of key works and projects of the province.

Concluding the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang analyzed and clearly stated each specific work content as well as suggested ways for the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province to implement in 2025 to ensure compliance with central and provincial regulations and the practical situation of the locality.

In particular, closely following the central regulations, the Provincial Party Committee proposed the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to lead the implementation of ending the activities of the Party delegations: Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Farmers' Association, Provincial Women's Union, Provincial Veterans' Association, Provincial Labor Federation, ending the Party delegation role of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, and at the same time, organizing and streamlining the apparatus to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province focus on implementing social supervision and criticism activities; have plans to support union members, association members, and people in economic development, building cultural life, and in the immediate future, guide people in the upcoming winter-spring crop production, pay attention to the lives of workers, and give the poor a warm and full Tet.
