Samsung Vina Electronics Company introduced The Freestyle 2nd generation in the Vietnamese market, a device that can turn any surface, even the ceiling, into a screen up to 100 inches.
The latest in Samsung's lifestyle line of portable smart projectors, combining groundbreaking innovation with user-centric design, The Freestyle 2nd Generation makes it easier than ever to take your favorite entertainment, movies, and games on the go.
In a compact design, the device has a flexible swivel base that can rotate 180 degrees to project on any flat surface, with screen sizes ranging from 30 inches to 100 inches. No matter what size the user chooses to project the image, The Freestyle 2nd generation still maintains excellent 360-degree image and sound quality. FullHD resolution (1920×1080) provides large, sharp and clear images so users can enjoy the big screen experience anytime, anywhere.
PurColor technology automatically optimizes colors, delivering richer and more realistic image quality.
Another improvement that contributes to the enhanced movie viewing experience is the Smart Edge Blending feature, which allows two devices to merge and project onto the same large, cinematic screen, making a difference from other products. This feature provides a panoramic viewing experience of up to 160 inches when viewed horizontally, 120 inches when viewed vertically, ensuring that movie nights or gaming in the living room are at the highest level of images.
The Freestyle 2nd generation is equipped with more DDR memory, up to 2.0GB, optimized software for a more powerful performance experience. In addition, the device allows users to access their favorite content, from TV to movies easily, making long movie screenings simple because there are no wires and auxiliary devices, just a Wi-Fi connection.
As part of Samsung's smart home ecosystem, users can easily project content from their smartphones via the SmartThings app, while the Smart Calibration feature optimizes the brightness balance based on the color of the projection surface, enhancing the viewing experience. For trips away from home, users can comfortably experience without worrying about power sources as The Freestyle can be powered via a portable backup battery that supports the popular USB-PD 3.0 standard.
Similar to Samsung's smart TVs, The Freestyle 2nd generation projector also uses the Tizen OS operating system, allowing users to enjoy rich entertainment content packages such as K+,FPT Play, VieON, Galaxy Play, TV360... and other privileges from smart TVs in the body of a compact portable projector, weighing less than 1kg.
The 2nd generation Freestyle will be officially sold at www.samsung.com from December 18, 2023 with the suggested retail price: 16,900,000 VND, with a free Freestyle backup battery and Samsung Freestyle carrying bag.
