Sharing in the common joy, the delegates were excited and proud to represent the sentiments, will and beliefs of the entire army's officers and soldiers to attend the 12th Army Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

In recent days, in the Tay Ninh border area, officers and soldiers of Long Khot Border Guard Station (Tay Ninh Provincial Border Guard Command) have been enthusiastically competing towards the congress. Soldiers and people came to the 223 milestone - the sacred symbol of the Fatherland's sovereignty. Here, everyone was introduced to the border line, milestones, and outstanding achievements of the Border Guard force. The excited spirit was clearly shown on everyone's face, thereby spreading the sense of responsibility in protecting the border. Major Nguyen Van The, Deputy Political Commissar of Long Khot Border Guard Station, sincerely shared: "Every part of the work of officers and soldiers in the unit is associated with the emulation movement, with the desire to contribute a small achievement, a fresh flower to welcome the Army Party Congress. This is also the motivation for the unit to continue to strive and successfully complete the task of managing and protecting the sovereignty and security of the border".

The message from the officer at the remote border is also the common spirit and spirit of the officers and soldiers of the Border Guard working across the country's borders. In the joy of attending the congress, Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Border Guard, said: As a core and specialized force in managing and protecting the territorial sovereignty and national border security, each party organization, each officer and party member in green uniform has clearly affirmed the role of "steel shield guarding the border", protecting every inch of the sacred land of the Fatherland, truly being a bridge connecting "the Party's will with the people's heart" in the border area, contributing to the overall achievements of the Party Committee of the Army and the entire army in the past term.

From the "Capital of Wind", the delegation of the Party Committee of Military Region 1 returned to the congress with excitement, carrying the feelings and aspirations of the cadres and soldiers working in the revolutionary homeland. There, the soldiers are training day and night, ready to fight, firmly protecting the Fatherland; regardless of the hardships of climbing mountains and wading streams to help people build a prosperous life. Those images remind us of the rainy season of 2024, when due to the impact of storm No. 3 (storm Yagi), 25 households in Ta Han village (Nam Cuong commune, Thai Nguyen province) were in an area at risk of landslides. In the midst of the most difficult time, the Ministry of National Defense decided to support the construction of a resettlement area. Receiving instructions from above, the Military Region 1's armed forces quickly carried out the task of rebuilding the residential area. Colonel Ta Van Thien, Deputy Political Commissar of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Command, shared: “Those were truly days of non-stop work, with the army and people working together on the construction site to build new villages. From the results achieved in performing the function of the “working army”, the cadres and soldiers at the grassroots level sent their trust to the congress, with a high spirit of determination, ready to help the people have a prosperous life, contributing to building a solid defense zone.”

Representing the will and sentiments of the cadres, party members and soldiers of Military Region 1, Major General La Cong Phuong, Party Committee Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 1, affirmed: Like all units in the entire army, the Military Region 1's armed forces always consider helping the people as a command from the heart. I believe that the congress will propose a leadership policy to mobilize all resources in building a strong national defense, building military region defense, provincial, city defense and regional defense associated with building a solid "people's heart position".

Attending the congress, Major General Ngo Minh Thuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of the 20th Corps, expressed his absolute confidence in the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense with strategic decisions, in which the decision to establish the 20th Corps demonstrates the determination to promote socio-economic development associated with ensuring national defense and security in protecting the sovereignty of the sea, islands and continental shelf of the Fatherland. With expectations for the congress, Major General Ngo Minh Thuan hopes that the Army will continue to build a number of large-scale military enterprises on the sea, with international competitiveness, dual-use and effective operations, both creating a driving force for economic development and contributing to building a solid national defense posture at sea.

Before the congress took place, having researched and contributed to the draft documents of the Central Military Commission to be submitted to the 12th Congress of the Party Committee of the Army, Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Sau, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Institute of Strategy and Defense History, expressed his consistency with the viewpoint of focusing on improving the quality of research, forecasting, and strategic advice on military and defense, ensuring accuracy, accuracy, effectiveness, and timeliness, avoiding passivity and surprise; firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Fatherland, protecting the Party, State, people, and socialist regime, and ensuring the highest national interests.

Along with the delegates attending the congress, many cadres, party members and soldiers in the entire army also expressed their faith and expectations for the 12th Party Congress of the Army. Currently, the task of defending the Fatherland and building the Army in the new era of development poses higher requirements. Cadres, soldiers and people hope that the congress will set out the correct leadership direction, focusing on thoroughly grasping the Party's guidelines and viewpoints on military, national defense, and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation and strategic decisions for national development; maintaining and strengthening the absolute and direct leadership in all aspects of the Party, the centralized and unified management and administration of the State over the Army and the national defense cause; building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern People's Army to firmly protect the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
