Speaking at the opening of the inspection, Major General Bui Thien Thau emphasized the purpose and significance of this inspection to accurately assess the level of understanding of flight theory, specialized theory, and technical level of piloting and navigation of helicopter pilots, as a basis for leaders and commanders at all levels to arrange and use officers and pilots; direct and guide the development of plans and organize the implementation of flight training tasks, ensuring flight safety in 2026 and the following years.

Immediately after the opening, the Pilot Technical Classification Council and flight crew members conducted an examination of the following contents: Aerodynamics - flight principles, pilot technical classification standards, handling of unexpected events and foreign languages ​​in the cockpit; navigation; aviation techniques; flight regulations, combat training curriculum; parachute training - search and rescue; aviation meteorology; flight safety regulations; aviation sports and political awareness.

In order for the test to achieve good results, immediately after receiving the plan from the Air Defense - Air Force, Air Force Regiment 916 organized a strict and serious dissemination, focusing on assigning good cadres and teachers in each major to teach and guide the pilots and flight crew members to review according to the test content of the Service.

The Regiment strictly maintains training discipline, especially flight training combined with closely organizing ground study sessions and flight safety lecture and experience sharing activities so that each pilot and flight crew member can improve their skills and knowledge in all aspects, both to serve the grading and rank retention tests, and to serve the combat readiness, flight training and flight safety of the Regiment.
