In the period of 2020 - 2025, emulation movements of Nam Dong commune were launched with many rich themes, diverse forms and practicality, promoting the spirit of great national unity in carrying out political tasks, building and developing the locality. Patriotic emulation movements in the economic field were focused on and effectively organized; agricultural development in the direction of restructuring the agricultural sector, concentrated production in association with new rural construction.

Notable movements include "Farmers competing in good production and business, uniting to help each other eliminate hunger, reduce poverty and enrich themselves legitimately", "Helping each other develop the economy ", "Good production and business", "Good labor, creative labor", more than 100 models, typical examples in the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" in various fields have been built and replicated. The quality of cultural construction at the grassroots level is increasingly substantial, with 100% of villages, agencies and units in the area maintaining cultural standards; 93.7% of households meeting cultural standards.

At the conference, the People's Committee of Nam Dong commune launched the emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030, determining that emulation movements must become a direct driving force to promote and encourage collectives and individuals to compete and exceed their assigned tasks. Linking the implementation of the patriotic emulation movement with promoting "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style"; emulating "Building new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind"; encouraging and creating conditions for advanced models to continue to promote, spread, encourage, motivate, set examples in the whole society, creating motivation to promote patriotic emulation movements.
