Improving legal knowledge for more than 1,000 Women's Union officials at all levels

On September 9, the Provincial Women's Union organized a training conference to improve legal knowledge capacity for reporters and officials of the Women's Union at all levels in 2025.

The conference was held directly in Buon Ma Thuot ward and connected online with 500 points in communes and wards in the province with the participation of more than 1,000 trainees who are commune-level union officials and heads of local women's union branches.

At the conference, trainees were informed about new points and practical significance from legal documents in 2025 (introducing the Law on Organization of Local Government 2025 and the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants 2025; analyzing new points related to the roles and responsibilities of grassroots cadres, including female cadres; learning about the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , Trade Unions, Youth Unions, and implementing democracy at the grassroots level; introducing Resolution 203/2025/QH15 amending the Constitution).

In addition, association officials also improve their legal and social skills and practical advice through topics such as: Mediation at the grassroots level; Prevention and control of domestic violence and protection of children's rights; Gender equality in social and family life; Legal advice (answering questions about marriage, family, civil affairs and practicing handling situations from practice).

This is an activity to raise awareness, responsibility and promote the role of women's associations at all levels in researching and learning the law. Thereby serving the work of disseminating legal education , mediation at the grassroots level, legal advice for women's association members, helping women proactively protect their rights and legitimate interests and those of their families.
