On the afternoon of March 26, the Thanh Hoa Province Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, Orphans and Children's Rights (NKTTMC&BVQTE) coordinated with the Vietnam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans to organize a training conference on "Improving the capacity to implement sustainable poverty reduction programs for officials and members working for the association in the province".
Overview of the training class.
During 2 days (March 26-27), more than 100 full-time staff of the Associations for the Protection of the Poor and Orphans in localities and volunteers who are directly supporting the poor, people with disabilities, and orphans in the province listened to lecturers from the Central Association of the Poor and Orphans of Vietnam impart basic knowledge about the content and projects of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025; the system of regular poverty reduction policies; plans and instructions on the process of investigating and reviewing poor households. At the same time, implementing a number of social protection policies, livelihoods for people with disabilities, policies for orphans... In addition to theoretical topics, the conference also organized group discussions, sharing practical experiences from models and examples, helping trainees easily apply them to work at the grassroots level.

Improving the capacity of cadres and members not only demonstrates the concern of the Association at all levels for poverty reduction work, but also shows the determination to accompany local authorities in sustainable development, ensuring that no one is left behind.
Awarded 60 scholarships to orphaned and disabled students from poor and near-poor households in the province.
Before the training program, the Central Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Disabled awarded 60 scholarships to 60 orphaned and disabled students from poor and near-poor households in the province (each scholarship is worth 1 million VND in cash from donations through the 1400 portal (results implemented by the Provincial Association and additional allocation by the Central Association) with a total scholarship value of 60 million VND.
