Germany provides tanks, air defense systems to Ukraine

Reuters quoted information from the German government on December 23 saying that Berlin had just transferred to Ukraine 15 Leopard 1A5 tanks, 1 short-range and 1 medium-range air defense system of the IRIS-T system, 2 launchers and other military equipment.

With the latest arms aid, Germany has fulfilled its promise to provide two more IRIS-T complexes before the end of this year, as the country faces more intense air strikes from Russia in the winter.
