Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank donated 110 bicycles to disadvantaged students.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025-2026, on September 5, the Trade Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies - Thanh Hoa Branch (Thanh Hoa Bank for Social Policies) organized a bicycle donation ceremony for poor students who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies in many localities in the province.

Representative of Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank leadership presented the logo of 20 bicycles to poor students overcoming difficulties of Dong Tien Secondary School, Dong Tien commune.

Accordingly, in this period, the Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank's Trade Union presented 110 bicycles to poor students who have overcome difficulties in many primary and secondary schools in the province, with a total value of more than 200 million VND. This is an activity under the program "Following children to school" of Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank. All funds were voluntarily contributed by staff and employees of Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank's Branch to raise funds.

Giving bicycles to disadvantaged students on the occasion of welcoming the new school year is one of the meaningful activities that Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank has maintained for the past 10 years. The bicycles are not of great value but are a source of encouragement for disadvantaged students, helping them have a means of transportation to school, motivating them to strive to excel in their studies, and becoming useful citizens for society.
