Ms. Tran Thi Uyen, Head of Professional Department, Binh Phuoc Provincial Customs Department reported on the implementation of Conclusion 365 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ngan, Deputy Director of Binh Phuoc Provincial Customs Department, informed and clarified the issues of concern to the monitoring delegation.

Binh Phuoc Customs Department manages 1 international border gate, 2 main border gates, 1 sub-border gate and 1 opening. According to the development strategy until 2030, the customs sector will promote the implementation of 4.0 technology, apply digital customs, smart customs, smart borders, green customs; synchronously apply chain management methods, by identification, apply AI artificial intelligence to modern customs management. The provincial Customs Department has invested in upgrading the office, proposed the General Department of Customs to provide specialized equipment... At the same time, strengthen inspection and close supervision of import and export goods, luggage of passengers entering and exiting the country, means of transport passing through the border gate; regularly propagate legal policies, guide, answer and promptly handle arising problems of enterprises; periodically conduct inspections and supervise the implementation of tasks through internal inspections...

Members of the monitoring delegation requested the Binh Phuoc Provincial Customs Department to clarify further issues of concern to the delegation.

At the monitoring session, the leaders of the Customs Department and members of the delegation pointed out the shortcomings, difficulties and problems arising from the actual work, including the shortcomings of incomplete and unsynchronized infrastructure... for the monitoring delegation to add to the general report sent to the competent authority for resolution.
