On August 16, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province announced that it had just issued a decision on the timetable framework for the 2024-2025 school year for preschool, general education and continuing education in the province.

Accordingly, on August 26, students of all levels will return to school, educational institutions will organize the opening ceremony of the new school year - the day all people send their children to school on September 5. Particularly for first graders, they will return to school earlier (August 19).

In Quang Tri , on August 26, students of all levels will return to school.

The time to start implementing the teaching plan for all levels in semester 1 is from September 5, 2024 to January 12, 2025; semester 2 starts after completing the semester 1 program until before May 25, 2025 and ends the 2024-2025 school year before May 31, 2025.

The work of considering and recognizing the completion of primary and secondary school programs will be carried out before June 30, 2025; the work of enrolling in preschool, primary school, secondary school and grade 10 of high school for the 2025-2026 school year will be completed before July 31, 2025, and the continuing education level of high school before August 31, 2025.

The People's Committee of Quang Tri province also stipulated the time to organize the provincial-level exam for excellent students in grade 9 on March 11, 2025. For the national exam for excellent students in grade 12 and the national science and technology competition, the high school graduation exam will be conducted according to separate instructions from the Ministry of Education and Training.
