Paem Buol Thmay Pagoda was built with elegant and graceful architecture and gold-painted motifs creating luxury.
Paem Buol Thmay Pagoda on Ly Thuong Kiet Street, near Sung Dinh intersection, Ward 4, Soc Trang City ( Soc Trang Province).
According to monk Dinh Hoang Su - Abbot of Paem Buol Thmay Pagoda, the pagoda was built in 1964 for people in Sung Dinh area to have a place to worship.
The temple was built and decorated in Khmer style combined with modern architecture but still retains traditional features, creating a highlight for the temple.

In particular, the Buddhist temple has many forms of inter-coordination: sunken carving, embossed carving on the wall, cement molding, direct plastering. The temple uses two main colors: yellow and white, with banana green accents. Therefore, the building exudes both modernity and ancient majesty.

At Peam Buol Thmay Pagoda, there is also a display space preserving daily life items of the people in the ancient Sung Dinh village. The artifacts are mainly made of ceramics, porcelain and farming tools.

All these items were contributed by Buddhists in and outside the province. The pagoda preserves ethnic artifacts to provide a basis for students who are passionate about research and diversify tourism products to serve tourists visiting the pagoda.

In particular, right in the temple grounds is on display a Ngo boat with a vivid and unique carving. This is also the first Ngo boat in the region to be carved directly onto the original boat.
