To start creating a chatbot, users can go to ai.meta.com/ai-studio or open a new message on Instagram, then tap “create AI chat.” From there, they can customize the AI ​​character’s name, personality, voice, avatar, and motto.

Content creators and business owners on Meta's platforms can use AI to chat with followers, automatically respond to questions, and even comment directly on posts.

The Verge sees this as a big step for Meta users. However, the company is taking a safe approach, starting with celebrities, then gradually testing in a few markets before expanding globally.
