ChatGPT is the AI ​​tool that makes Vietnamese people most satisfied

According to the latest survey on the AI ​​market in Vietnam, Vietnamese people use ChatGPT the most among AI tools, with tasks such as translation and additional research.

According to the report "Consumer AI Market in Vietnam 2025" recently published by Decision Lab, 78% of Vietnamese internet users have used at least one AI (artificial intelligence) platform in the past 3 months, with Gen Z leading in both usage and daily frequency.

Conducted in late July 2025 using an online survey with 600 participants, Decision Lab's report shows that AI adoption is strongly concentrated among knowledge workers, led by students at 92%, followed by office workers and business owners at 78%.

When asked about their reasons for using AI, the majority of survey respondents said they wanted to save time (67%), simplify learning (60%), spark creativity (51%), and improve accuracy (48%).

In learning and working environments, 34% of participants said they leverage AI to learn new skills, 33% translate content, and 25% conduct in-depth research.

In entertainment, 40% say AI plays a role in chat support and 33% use the tool to practice interactive communication.

In the creative sector, 31% said they use AI to edit photos and videos , 29% said they use AI to create content, and 26% use it to visualize ideas.

Health and wellness is emerging as a potential segment, with 29% of users turning to AI to look up health information and related products.

On average, each Vietnamese person uses about 2 AI platforms, with a fairly diverse tool portfolio. The market leader is ChatGPT (81%), followed by Gemini (51%) and Meta AI (36%).

In particular, thanks to its convenience and versatility, ChatGPT holds the number 1 position in terms of satisfaction of current Vietnamese users with 51%.

ChatGPT is considered a "multi-purpose assistant" for translation, research and professional work. Gemini and DeepSeek act as study companions, supporting users in learning new skills/knowledge.

The report "Vietnam Consumer AI Market 2025" also pointed out three key factors to help AI become more popular among Vietnamese users: affordability, ensuring everyone can access it thanks to free or low-cost features; ease of use - providing intuitive, versatile tools and seamless connectivity between platforms; accuracy - providing reliable, real-time information to build trust.

Not only popular, AI has also become a potential market when more than half (55%) of users are willing to pay for service packages.
