On the evening of September 22, at the National High-Level Athletes Training Center (Xuan Phuong Ward, Hanoi), the Vietnam Shooting Federation held the opening ceremony of the National Shooting Championship - Vietnam Shooting Federation Cup 2025 and awarded the first round.

The 2025 National Shooting Championship takes place from September 20 to October 2, with the participation of 300 athletes from 13 delegations from 12 units, sectors and localities, including the Army, Public Security, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Nam , Dak Lak, Dong Nai.

Maximum focus on expertise

This year's tournament has the participation of many excellent athletes who have achieved high results in the international arena such as: Trinh Thu Vinh (2 times in the final round of the 2024 Olympics); Pham Quang Huy (ASIAD gold medal); Le Thi Mong Tuyen (official ticket to the 2024 Olympics); Nguyen Thi Mai Chi (champion of the Asian shooting tournament in Kazakhstan in 2025)...

In particular, in order to develop the flying disc shooting sport in Vietnam, in addition to sending officials and athletes to Thailand for training, the Vietnam Shooting Federation in coordination with the Vietnam Sports Department organized training and invited international experts to teach Compak Sporting flying disc shooting to coaches, referees and athletes.

At the 2024 and 2025 national shooting championships, the Organizing Committee will include the Compak Sporting flying disc shooting event in the medal competition in the high-performance shooting competition.

In 2025, the Southeast Asian Shooting Association will make the Compak Sporting flying disc shooting competition an official competition at the 47th Southeast Asian Shooting Championship (SEASA) and the 33rd SEA Games. For the first time, Vietnamese shooting will participate in the Compak Sporting flying disc event at SEASA 47 and SEA Games 33.
