Personnel of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations will be appointed after the 14th Congress.

(Dan Tri) - The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations will approve the number of Executive Committee members, and specific personnel will be appointed after the 14th National Party Congress.

On the morning of September 18, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations held an information session on the 1st Congress, term 2025-2030 of the Party Committee.

According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Chung, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, the Central mass organizations, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, and the Central mass organizations have 25 affiliated Party organizations with over 5,000 Party members. The Executive Committee consists of 31 members, the Standing Committee consists of 13 members, the Standing Party Committee consists of 5 members including the Secretary, the Standing Deputy Secretary and 4 full-time Deputy Secretaries.

Mr. Chung emphasized that with the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development", the Congress will evaluate the results of the 2020-2025 term, set out directions, goals, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term and contribute opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

"This is an event of important political significance, a milestone in the process of building the Party according to a new model, under new conditions," Mr. Chung affirmed.

The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations is expected to take place on September 22-23 at the Vietnam Youth Academy (No. 3, Chua Lang Street, Hanoi ).

The Congress was attended by 350 delegates. Of these, 31 were ex-officio members of the Party Executive Committee, 18 were elected delegates from 5 party organizations; and 301 were appointed delegates from 20 affiliated party organizations.

The Congress will approve the number of Executive Committee members, and specific personnel will be appointed after the 14th National Party Congress. After the Congress, the Party Committee's leadership will continue to direct activities within the Party Committee until the Central Executive Committee appoints new Executive Committee personnel.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations, emphasized that the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations, term 2025-2030, takes place in a new context and new situation of the Party and the country.

According to Mr. Hoc, the Congress must propose solutions to innovate mechanisms and methods of operation; increase substance, depth and efficiency, overcome movement and formality; mobilize and arouse the spirit of solidarity, gathering, and arousing the people's strength and resources in accordance with the spirit of General Secretary To Lam's request.

The Congress's political report identified 5 directions, 10 groups of targets, 8 key tasks and 10 groups of solutions on leadership in implementing political tasks and 5 groups of solutions on Party building work that need to be focused on implementing in the 2025-2030 term.

The Congress proposed three breakthroughs to be focused on during the term.

One is to innovate leadership methods according to new models; new thinking, new ways of doing, new results.

Second is to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, residential areas, close to the people, proactively serving the people.

Third is to focus on training, fostering, evaluating, arranging, and effectively using the staff, especially the heads of Party committees, agencies, and units; pay attention to training staff through practical activities; closely link "theory with practice" and "words go hand in hand with actions".
