This is the first purebred high-yielding dairy herd imported directly from the US to Thanh Hoa. The Thanh Hoa Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine in coordination with the Department of Veterinary Medicine of Region III and Yen My Dairy Food and Agricultural High-Tech Application Co., Ltd. carried out animal quarantine procedures.

The import of 2,009 purebred HF high-yielding dairy cows has increased the total number of dairy cows raised at Yen My farm, Nong Cong district to 3,419, reaching 33% of the total capacity of phase 1. It is expected that by the beginning of the third quarter of 2024, the herd will start milking. The company strives to have a total herd of about 10,000 cows raised at the farm by the fourth quarter of 2024, reaching 100% of the total herd size, phase 1 of the Project.
