With the theme: Good stories I tell, the second contest "Saving electricity becomes a habit" aims to find good stories, new initiatives and effective methods of saving electricity, review as well as proven changes in electricity saving solutions from the reality of households, offices, businesses... for everyone to refer to, learn and spread the spirit of saving electricity to society.

Speaking at the ceremony, Thanh Nien Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Ngoc Toan said that the period from March to July is the peak of hot weather, the electricity usage of customers often increases rapidly, leading to the frequency of using electrical appliances in the house, especially cooling, heat dissipation and air conditioning equipment more and more frequently.

"Electricity saving culture is a process from awareness to action and finally forming a habit. Therefore, choosing to periodically post good contest entries on modern media channels of Thanh Nien Newspaper also contributes to spreading the beautiful image and responsible spirit of the electricity industry to the social community in the current digital transformation era," emphasized journalist Nguyen Ngoc Toan.

The 2nd writing contest "Saving electricity becomes a habit: Good stories I tell" co-organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper and EVNHCMC, with a total prize of nearly 100 million VND, will start accepting entries from April 9, 2024 - July 10, 2024 (see detailed rules here).
