Prison hotel in Bangkok, Thailand
Sook Station once caused a stir in Bangkok when it appeared with the idea of turning the hotel into a... prison. According to The Guardian , each room is designed like a real prison cell, with cold cement walls, bunk beds, and heavy iron doors. When checking in, guests are also photographed as criminals and wearing prison uniforms.

Hotel underground in a quarry in Shanghai, China
One of the most "crazy" hotel projects in Asia is the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland (also known as Shimao Wonderland).
Located in Songjiang, a suburb of Shanghai, the hotel is built in a deep quarry, with many floors submerged under water, with room rates starting at $360/night (about 9.5 million VND). The impressive highlight is the underwater rooms, where guests can watch the aquatic world right from their beds.

The light from the building radiating from the quarry makes many people think this is a "fairyland" (Photo: Tablet Hotel).
This bold design has won many international architectural awards and is considered a "man-made wonder" in the heart of nature.

The most luxurious villa rental price can be up to 400 million VND/night, depending on the time and number of nights booked and is usually booked in a package of at least 4 nights.
For that price, guests get a personal butler, fine dining and complete privacy. It is considered one of the most luxurious resort experiences on the planet.
“Crazy House” in Da Lat, Vietnam
In Vietnam, Crazy House (Hang Nga Guesthouse, Da Lat) is also considered one of the most bizarre hotels in Asia. The project was built by female architect Dang Viet Nga, with a dream-like appearance, with winding stairs, rooms located inside tree trunks, and windows shaped like strange animals.

According to the villa's website, room rates here range from 780,000 VND to 1.25 million VND/room for 2 people/night.
What attracts visitors is not the luxurious facilities but the unusual experience. However, some rooms are rated as a bit damp, have mosquitoes, small space, but most visitors still appreciate the central location and the friendliness of the staff.
