He warmly welcomed her, then suddenly picked up his familiar zither to accompany her performance of the song "Da Co Hoai Lang" by the late musician Cao Van Lau. "Those were moments that I can never forget. Teacher Khe played the guitar, I sang, as if there was an invisible thread connecting us and the whole history of reformed opera and traditional music" - she emotionally shared.

He once told her to maintain her devotion to the traditional theater career, to live, perform and contribute with all her heart. When he learned that later, due to circumstances and health, she rarely participated in the reformed theater stage and switched to comedy, television and cinema.

"He told me that an artist must set an example for the younger generation, must leave behind a flame of enthusiasm for them to continue on the path of national art. Sometimes I have to return to reformed opera. Comedy is just my weakness, and I always remind myself of that every time I step on stage or when I pass on my profession to the younger generation" - People's Artist Ngoc Giau confided.
