Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung is warm in the new song "Sweet in Love"

With a warm voice and emotional performance style, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung – Sao Mai 2003 Champion, continues to conquer the audience with the new song “Sweetness in Love”. This is composed by musician Nguyen Thanh Trung, a long-time musical companion of the singer from the mining land.

Released in the early autumn days of August, “Sweet in Love” is a gentle, pure love song. The melody and lyrics are simple, familiar but no less profound, making the listener feel like they are led into a space filled with emotions.

Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung shared that in the diverse flow of contemporary Vietnamese music , there are works that do not need to be noisy or show off techniques to create an impression. They conquer listeners with sincerity, simplicity and depth. “Sweet in Love” is such a song. The song is a gentle confession of a soul in love, full of poetry and purity, but also not lacking in inner depth.

Right from the opening line “How sweet it is to love someone”, the song creates a gentle and passionate feeling. The lyrics are not complicated, not colorful, but full of poetry. Images such as “flying over a thousand mountains”, “on the sunny moon”, or “counting a million stars in the sun” take love beyond the ordinary space, becoming a romantic, dreamy symbol typical of the lyrical pop ballad style mixed with poetry.

The arrangement of the song “Sweet in Love” by musician Duc Thuy has a light jazz sound, with open chords creating a dreamy, airy sound space. These delicate choices further highlight the lyricism and poetry in the composition, while recalling the romantic beauty of classic jazz love songs.

Once known for his powerful chamber voice, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung always shows flexibility in performing many different musical genres. The male singer shared: "I always try to approach new things, but still maintain my own identity. Some artists may change to please the audience's taste, but I choose to be moderate, not conservative but always myself."
