Training on occupational safety and hygiene for grassroots medical staff

From September 16 to October 1, 2025, the Lang Son Provincial Center for Disease Control organized 9 training courses on occupational safety and hygiene for more than 300 staff of regional health centers and commune health stations. The program aims to improve knowledge and skills in preventing occupational accidents, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, and strengthening the capacity to manage occupational safety and hygiene in medical facilities.

Occupational safety and hygiene training course at Loc Binh Regional Medical Center

As of September 23, 2025, the Center for Disease Control has organized 5 classes at the Regional Medical Centers of Binh Gia, Bac Son, Chi Lang, Trang Dinh and Loc Binh.

Through training courses, grassroots medical staff are updated with legal documents on occupational safety and hygiene; Procedures for organizing, managing and implementing regulations on occupational safety and hygiene in medical facilities; Harmful and dangerous factors in medical facilities; Occupational disease management; Declaration, investigation, reporting of occupational accidents and occupational accident and disease insurance regimes. In addition, trainees are guided in preparing occupational environmental hygiene records, monitoring the working environment and occupational safety and hygiene training.

The training content is implemented by lecturers alternating between lectures and group discussion activities, helping trainees absorb and apply knowledge effectively, contributing to consolidating and improving capacity and effectiveness in ensuring safety for workers during work at medical facilities as well as businesses and production facilities in the area.
