On July 17, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Nguyen Dang Linh Chi (12th grade Chemistry student, Tran Phu High School for the Gifted) said that this morning some relatives and friends informed her that she was the valedictorian of block B nationwide.

According to Chi, before that, when she knew her total exam score was 29.55 (Chemistry: 10; Math: 9.8, Biology: 9.75), Chi did not think that she would be the valedictorian of the country because in previous years, the valedictorians were all people with higher scores.

“I was very surprised and happy, I immediately informed my mother and relatives to share the joy. This was beyond my expectations. I can only thank the teachers of Tran Phu High School for the Gifted, and my homeroom teacher for their guidance to get today's results,” Chi said.

The top student of the B group nationwide recalled that during the recent high school graduation exam, especially for the B group subjects, after finishing a subject, Chi would not think about that subject anymore but would relax her mind and be healthy enough to continue taking the other subjects. In particular, after finishing the exam, Chi left the room with a relaxed mind because she was sure she could do it.

Talking about the study method to get good results like this, Chi said, first of all, you must have basic knowledge and be diligent in all subjects. As for the subjects in group B, Chi feels that it is easy to absorb knowledge. For any difficult lessons, she will directly meet the teacher of that subject to ask until she understands.

“I am an introvert, so I usually like to sit alone. At times like that, I will remember the lectures. That is also my way of studying without having to sit at the desk,” Chi shared. With such achievements, Chi will register to study Medicine at Hanoi Medical University.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - homeroom teacher of class 12 Chemistry, said that in class, Chi is very sociable with her friends so everyone loves her. In addition, Chi also has many talents to entertain her friends after hard hours of studying.

According to Ms. Thuy, during her studies, Chi has achieved many outstanding achievements such as being the valedictorian of the Chemistry class, Second Prize in Chemistry at the city level, member of the National Chemistry Team and IELTS 8.0. The female teacher believes that with these efforts, Linh Chi's future is completely open.
