As soon as the school informed her to participate in the Exam Season Consulting program of Thanh Nien Newspaper, female student Cao Thi Anh Tuyet, a member of the Sach ethnic minority, traveled 150 km from Dan Hoa commune (Minh Hoa district) to find her 'dream school'.
This morning, March 2, at Vo Nguyen Giap High School for the Gifted (Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh ), the Exam Season Consulting program was held by Thanh Nien Newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Department of Education and Training of Quang Binh Province. The program was broadcast live on many channels of Thanh Nien Newspaper such as: thanhnien.vn, Facebook.com/thanhnien and YouTube, TikTok Thanh Nien Newspaper, with the support of high-speed transmission lines of VNPT Quang Binh.
This is an opportunity for students in the highlands of Quang Binh to learn and get advice about their dream schools.

Cao Thi Anh Tuyet (grade 12 student, Quang Binh Province Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities) was on her way home for the weekend, but as soon as she heard the school announce the program, she traveled 150 km to the city to participate.
"I am a Sach ethnic person living in Dan Hoa commune (Minh Hoa district). I am very happy to be here to attend the program. Through research this morning, I have chosen the school that I love and received enthusiastic advice from the teachers," Tuyet said.
Tuyet chose Quang Binh University, majoring in education, to be close to home and above all, she hopes to become a person who "carries letters up the mountain" for her ethnic minority compatriots.
Unlike Tuyet, female student Cao Dieu Thien (residing in Hoa Son commune, Minh Hoa district) is looking for the school she has long dreamed of: Duy Tan University.

"I was introduced to the school by my seniors and teachers. I really like it and this is my dream to strive for," Thien shared.
A major obstacle for ethnic minority students is economic conditions, distance... causing them to think between choosing to study near home or far away. The Exam Season Counseling Program is a special time for students to be counseled, find the right direction and confidently grasp their dreams.
On the morning of March 2, during the Exam Counseling program, a student attending the program had a stomachache, and upon examination by medical staff, she was found to have appendicitis. The female student was then transferred to Quang Binh General Hospital for emergency treatment.
The ambulance of TTH General Hospital is on standby at Vo Nguyen Giap High School for the Gifted and is ready to promptly handle students with health problems.
