The sinkhole is about 5 meters deep and nearly 2 meters wide, located next to the path in village 4, Quang Binh commune, posing a potential safety risk to people.

According to local residents, the sinkhole began appearing around the end of July, and has been there for more than a week now, but it has yet to be completely addressed by the authorities. There are 5 households living in the area, right next to the sinkhole, including many children and the elderly.

Ms. Hoang Thi Thiem, a resident whose house is right next to the hole, worriedly shared: "Since the hole appeared, my family has always been worried. It is very dangerous for children in the neighborhood to play around this area. We have used bamboo to make a temporary fence, but it is only a preventive measure. Every time it rains, we are even more worried that it will erode further."

Actual observations show that the land around the crater is hollow and shows signs of continuing to sink. Meanwhile, this road is the main path for villagers, posing many potential risks if not intervened promptly.

Local people urgently request the Quang Binh commune authorities and professional agencies to promptly inspect and assess the situation and take drastic measures to ensure safety for people and vehicles, avoiding unfortunate incidents.
