VFF has just sent a dispatch to superior agencies reporting on the temporary dismissal of Mr. Cao Tien Doan from the position of member of the VFF Executive Committee, term IX.

VFF said in the dispatch: “Recently, after receiving information about Mr. Cao Tien Doan - Member of the Executive Committee of VFF, term IX, violating the law, VFF has actively grasped the situation, sent a VFF working delegation to work with the competent authorities of Thanh Hoa to coordinate and grasp information.

After Mr. Cao Tien Doan was prosecuted, based on the VFF charter, the VFF Executive Committee agreed to temporarily dismiss Mr. Cao Tien Doan from the position of member of the VFF Executive Committee, term IX (term 2022 - 2026) from September 18, 2025 until the decision of the VFF Congress.

On August 29, the Investigation Police Agency of Thanh Hoa Province Police urgently arrested Mr. Cao Tien Doan, 65 years old, residing in Sam Son Ward, Thanh Hoa, General Director of Dong A Real Estate Group Company Limited, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Business Association, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Club. Mr. Doan was arrested to investigate the act of violating accounting regulations causing serious consequences, as prescribed in Article 221 of the Penal Code.

Previously, on the evening of August 28, the Investigation Police Agency of Thanh Hoa Province Police urgently searched the residence, Thanh An mansion (address: Sam Son Ward), and the workplace, the headquarters of Dong A Real Estate Group Company Limited, on Le Loi Avenue (Hac Thanh Ward, Thanh Hoa) of Mr. Doan.

After 5 rounds of V-League 2025-2026, Thanh Hoa team is temporarily at the bottom of the rankings and facing many difficulties in the relegation race.
