Mr. Vu Dai Thang re-elected Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee

(Dan Tri) - On the afternoon of September 26, Mr. Vu Dai Thang was re-elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 16th term, 2025-2030, with an absolute number of votes.

The 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress elected an Executive Committee of 55 members. At the first meeting, the Executive Committee elected a Standing Committee of 15 members, a Secretary, Deputy Secretaries, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee and a delegation to attend the 14th National Party Congress.

Ms. Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Bui Van Khang, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Vu Quyet Tien were elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, term XVI, all with absolute votes.

The Executive Committee also elected 11 people to the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, of which Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi holds the position of Chairman.

Speaking after being trusted, Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang expressed his gratitude for the attention, leadership and direction of the Central Government; respectfully acknowledged the contributions of generations of provincial leaders and the consensus of officials, party members and people of Quang Ninh in building the tradition of "Discipline and Unity".

He said that Quang Ninh must continue to affirm its role as a comprehensive growth pole in the North, contributing with the whole country to realize the aspiration for strong, prosperous and happy development.

In the new term, the province focuses on three breakthroughs: developing high-quality human resources; perfecting modern socio -economic infrastructure, regional connectivity; promoting science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Quang Ninh aims to develop the private economy, digital economy, marine tourism , marine economy, green transformation; build Van Don special economic zone into a new generation and Mong Cai border gate economic zone into a smart and modern one. The province also focuses on developing a rich culture, associated with cultural industry, heritage economy, night economy and urban economy.

Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang affirmed that he will work with the leadership, cadres, party members and people to put the Resolution of the 16th National Congress into practice, creating clear results for the province's development, always putting the interests of the people and the locality above all.
