Launching the Provincial Pink Holiday Campaign 2025

(DN) - On the morning of August 17, at Nguyen Du High School (Binh Phuoc Ward), Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of Dong Nai province to organize the launching ceremony of the 2025 Provincial Pink Holiday Campaign, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Representatives of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; leaders of several communes and wards of the province, along with more than 300 union members, youth and local people attended the launching ceremony.

As part of the key activities of the Dong Nai Province Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2025, the Pink Holiday Campaign arouses the spirit of initiative and creativity of young cadres, civil servants, public employees, and young workers, contributing to improving the quality of people's lives and building a serving government, civilized urban areas, and advanced new rural areas in the area.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Youth Union and Children's Affairs Department, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province Le Thi Truc Mai affirmed: This year's Pink Holiday has special significance in the new period, new momentum after the reorganization of the apparatus and administrative units. At the same time, calling on the team of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and young workers of the province to maximize their professional advantages to participate in the campaign, contributing to improving service efficiency, especially promoting propaganda and supporting digital transformation among the people. Each trip, each part of work puts people's welfare first; going to the right difficult address, prioritizing the vulnerable, ensuring safety, discipline, saying goes hand in hand with doing, doing things thoroughly; preserving the image of dedicated, exemplary, and friendly young cadres, civil servants, and public employees.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the province also launched a peak emulation campaign to celebrate and organize the National Day, from August 17 to September 4, 2025.

Within the framework of the program, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union presented 200 national flags, 2 sets of computers and a program to examine, provide medicine, and give gifts to Dak O commune, 50 cartons of milk to Dak Nhau commune; and awarded 30 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, to disadvantaged children in Binh Phuoc ward.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, Youth Union officials, members and youths participated in a training conference on professional skills in receiving, managing and using loans from the Social Policy Bank for full-time Youth Union officials in 2025.
