Crocodile found floating on the river

On the morning of July 2, information from Vinh Hung commune, Tay Ninh province, a crocodile appeared floating on Lo Gach river which could be dangerous to people.

Accordingly, at around 5:00 p.m. on July 1, people discovered an adult crocodile floating on the Lo Gach River, near the Lo Gach archaeological site, in Vinh Hung commune, Tay Ninh province. The incident was then reported to the People's Committee of Vinh Hung commune.

Chairman of Vinh Hung Commune People's Committee - Nguyen Van Tuan said: "After receiving the information, the Commune People's Committee held an urgent meeting, assigned militia and civil defense forces to monitor. At the same time, widely announced on the commune's loudspeaker system and social networks to alert people, limit activities on the river in this area; absolutely do not allow children to approach the area or bathe in the river to ensure safety of life".

“As of this morning, we are still monitoring the situation when crocodiles are discovered to have a solution. At the same time, we are warning people when they discover crocodiles to promptly notify local authorities and functional agencies to take measures to capture them to ensure people's safety" - Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan informed./.
