Approval of planning for Opera House on Quang An Peninsula

(CLO) The planning area of ​​the modern Opera House is located in the center of Quang An peninsula, Quang An and Tu Lien wards, Tay Ho district, Hanoi .

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 6132/QD-UBND on approving the detailed planning project of the central spatial axis of Quang An peninsula, scale 1/500. Location in Quang An ward, Tu Lien ward, Tay Ho district.

The project aims to concretize the Urban Zoning Plan for the West Lake area and vicinity (A6), scale 1/2000 and locally adjust the Urban Zoning Plan A6, scale 1/2000 in planning blocks 16, 17, 19 and regional routes.

The research area for detailed planning of the central space of Quang An peninsula, scale 1/500, belongs to the administrative boundaries of Quang An ward, Tu Lien ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi city.

The Northeast borders Au Co Street and Xuan Dieu Street. The Northwest borders the land along Dang Thai Mai Street and Thuy Su Lake. The Southwest borders the water surface of West Lake. The Southeast borders the land along Dang Thai Mai space axis and Tay Ho villa area.

The total planned land area is about 44.1 hectares with the main functions being a specialized cultural and artistic park, City Theater, religious and belief works, entertainment area and hotel and commercial services.

The main idea of ​​the master plan design is to take full advantage of the cultural, historical, and natural conditions of the water and greenery of the area to form an interconnected space connecting the buildings.

The landscape architectural space takes the central axis of Quang An peninsula combined with the specialized park of culture, art, entertainment, and multi-purpose culture as the main planning axis; organized by a walking street stretching from Northeast to Southwest, starting from the park gate area to the open square next to Dam Tri lake, ending with the highlight project of the Theater and multi-purpose auditorium.

Cultural and entertainment spaces are organized along this planning axis, including basements and ground floors. This will be the main space to organize a series of cultural festivals, seasonal entertainment and events.

In addition, the area will also create a green space, with full functions to meet the needs of a specialized green park - a multi-functional cultural area, specialized art, including the construction of a large-scale, modern theater, typical of the capital Hanoi, a spiritual cultural space, combined with a public space axis of the square, commercial service area, tourism ...

The City People's Committee assigned the Tay Ho District People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Planning and Architecture and the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning to publicly announce the approved detailed planning project content so that relevant organizations, agencies and people can know.
