On the morning of August 20, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of An Giang province Nguyen Thanh Nhan led a provincial delegation to visit revolutionary comrades before the August Uprising Day in 1945, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Visiting the family of Mrs. Pham Thi Lien (former Head of the Commune Women's Team; residing in Binh Khanh 5 Hamlet, Binh Duc Ward), on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the commander of the armed forces of An Giang Province, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of An Giang Province Nguyen Thanh Nhan kindly inquired about the health and life of Mrs. Pham Thi Lien's family. At the same time, he expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of Mrs. Pham Thi Lien and her family for the cause of fighting for independence, national liberation, national unification, building and defending the Fatherland.
